Types of reports

There are three types of email reports you can enable:

  1. Monitored links
Shows status changes in the backlinks you are tracking.

  2. New links
Lists new backlinks that Linkody has discovered for your domains.

  3. Competitors new links
Lists new backlinks discovered for your tracked competitors.

Frequency settings

You can configure the frequency of each report:

  • Daily

  • Weekly

  • Off

Note: New links (for both your domains and competitors) are only searched once a week, even if the report frequency is set to daily.

Monitored links report behavior

For monitored links, you have an extra option:

  • Notify if any change of status – Receive a report only if one or more links changed since the last email.

  • Always send – Receive a report every time, even if nothing changed.

Recipients

Configure recipients
  • By default, reports are sent to the email address used to sign in.

  • You can define up to 3 recipients to receive the reports instead.

Once set, these recipients replace the default email address. Reports will no longer be sent to the login email unless it is explicitly listed.

This is useful for sending reports directly to clients, teammates, or external stakeholders.

Summary

Email notification settings let you:

  • Stay informed about new links and link status changes

  • Choose how often to receive each report

  • Replace the default recipient with up to 3 custom email addresses
