Linkody’s Contacts mini CMS helps you keep track of the people behind your backlinks. Easily manage your outreach and relationship-building efforts by storing, editing, and associating contacts with specific links.

Accessing the Contacts CMS

You can access the Contacts CMS from the Contacts entry in the left-hand menu.

Account Owners, Admins, and Link Builders can add, edit, and delete contacts.

How to access the Contact CMS

Contact fields

Each contact record includes the following fields:

  • First name

  • Last name

  • Email

  • Phone

  • Contact type (business or personal)

  • Business name

  • Position

  • Notes (free text for any additional info)

These details help you organize your outreach and keep all relevant information in one place.

Searching and filtering contacts

The Contacts CMS provides:

  • A search field that lets you search contacts by first name, last name, or email address.

  • A filter on the Contact type field, so you can quickly view only business or personal contacts.

Associating contacts with links

When adding or editing a link, you can associate one of your saved contacts with that link. This makes it easy to track who your outreach efforts are connected to.

Using contacts in the Links Report

In the Links Report, contacts appear alongside your links for easier management:

  • Filter links by contact to see all links associated with a specific person.

  • Click on the contact’s name to view their full details.

  • Click on the email address to open your email client and send them a message directly.

You can also choose to display or hide the Contact column using the Column Settings menu, just like other report fields.
