Linkody uses quotas to define the amount you can track, based on your subscription plan. Understanding how quotas work enables you to manage your resources efficiently and plan upgrades as needed.
What counts toward your quotas?
Your plan includes three main quotas:
Domains — The number of domains you can monitor.
Each of your own domains counts as 1 domain.
Each competitor you add also counts as 1 domain.
Example: tracking 2 of your websites and 3 competitors uses 5 domains.
Links — The maximum number of backlinks you can track across all your domains.
Users — The number of users (including yourself) who can access your account.
💡 Note: Competitors' links do not count toward your link quota.
How to check your current usage
You can view your current quota usage at any time:
On the Plan tab, you’ll see:
Your subscribed quotas for domains, links, and users.
Your current usage for each.
If you reach your quota limits, you won’t be able to add more domains, links, or users until you free up space or upgrade your plan.
Replacing a domain or competitor
Deleting a domain or competitor immediately frees up a quota slot. However, you must wait 30 days after adding a domain or competitor before you can replace it with a different one. This prevents frequent switching.
How to upgrade
If you need to track more than your current plan allows, you can easily upgrade:
Go to your Account page from the avatar menu.
Click the Upgrade button.
Review and choose from the available plans with higher quotas.
Your new quotas will be applied immediately after upgrading.
Summary
Your plan’s quotas define the number of domains, links, and users you can track. You can always monitor your usage in the Account settings and upgrade when needed to accommodate your growing SEO efforts. Remember: you can delete and replace domains or competitors, but replacing them with a new one is only possible 30 days after the initial addition.
