Tracking link changes with the Changelog Report

Use Linkody’s Changelog Report to view the full history of backlink status changes. Investigate events and audit your links over time.

Updated over 2 months ago

The Changelog Report in Linkody gives you a full history of all link status changes. It’s the best way to investigate when and how your backlinks changed over time.

What the report shows

Each entry in the Changelog Report includes:

  • The link URL

  • The previous status (e.g., OK, LNF, WR)

  • The new status

  • The timestamp when the change occurred

This allows you to review exactly what changed and when for any link in your account.

Why this matters

While Linkody sends email reports when link statuses change, the Changelog Report gives you the full historical view. This report help you to:

  • Know when a link was lost or recovered

  • Understand link behavior over time

  • Investigate SEO-impacting events

Filters

You can filter the report to focus on specific types of changes:

  • Filter by previous status (e.g., from OK)

  • Filter by new status (e.g., to LNF)

This makes it easy to find, for example:

  • All links that recently became broken

  • All links that were recovered after being lost

Summary

The Changelog Report is your link status timeline:

  • View the full history of link changes

  • Filter by event type to audit link health

  • Investigate SEO-impacting events

Use it to dig deeper and stay informed about how your link profile evolves over time.
