Importing links via CSV

Import backlinks in bulk with Linkody’s CSV feature. Supports multiple formats and flexible settings for efficient link management.

Updated over a month ago

If you need to add a large number of links at once, the CSV import feature is the most efficient method. Linkody supports different formats and offers flexible import options.

Step 1: Select the format

You can import CSV files in one of the following formats:

  • Linkody’s own format

  • Google Search Console (GSC)

  • Ahrefs

  • Moz

Choose the correct format depending on the source of your data.

If you're using Linkody’s format, you can download a sample file to ensure proper structure.

Step 2: Configure import options

Before uploading your file, you can adjust several settings:

  • Update existing links – If enabled, Linkody will update any matching links with the new data.

  • Max links per referring domain – Set a limit on how many links from the same referring domain should be imported.

  • Apply max to file only – If checked, the max link per referring domain limit applies only to links in the uploaded file, not existing ones already in Linkody.

  • Report status changes – Enabled by default. Uncheck this if you don’t want email alerts for these links.
